Neptunes Grotto is looking for an experienced section waiter and sommelier.

Neptunes Grotto, a restaurant by Chefs Dan Pepperell, Mikey Clift, and sommelier Andy Tyson, located in the Sydney CBD on the corner of Young St and Loftus Lane, is looking for an experienced section waiter and a sommelier to join the team.

Drawing inspiration from the rich Northern Italian cuisine of the Emilia-Romagna region, Neptunes Grotto has been lauded for its freshly made pastas and extensive wine list. The Grotto opened in November of 2024 to rave reviews and was quickly recognised for its outstanding service and culinary excellence. Our accolades include winning Time Out’s Restaurant of the Year 2025, Best Relaxed Dining 2025, the No. 1 spot on The Australian Weekend Magazine’s Hot 50 Restaurants in NSW and a score of 16 (two chef’s hat’s) in the Good Food Guide.

You will be part of a team of industry professionals that strive to produce a world class experience each and every service. Successful applicants will be invited to a trial where you will be required to carry 3x plates and interact with guests and staff so proficiency across both avenues is a must.
