**About You**
- As a fitter and turner or machine operator, you have first-hand experience operating or maintaining industrial machinery. You are now looking for machinery that is a bit more complex to put your problem-solving skills to the test and the idea of working on the latest CNC machinery excites you.
- You have developed an excellent fault-finding approach with machinery and feel a great sense of satisfaction from being able to identify a mechanical fault and then solve it. You always understand the need to fix mechanical issues because you know how important machinery is to customers.
- Throughout your career you have demonstrated a strong ability to learn how different machinery works. Your passion and willingness to learn has gotten you to this stage in your career, and you are looking to tackle new machinery to broaden your technical skills.

**About the Role**

As part of the role, you will work closely with Senior Technicians to:

- Develop your skills and knowledge across a broad range of machines and across a number of industry brands, including; GMM, Burkhardt and Thibaut to name a few.
- Assist Senior Technicians to effectively maintain machinery across the Gold Coast, Brisbane and QLD.
- Conduct root cause analysis, fault-finding and diagnosing efficient solutions to machine breakdowns.
- Execute the installation process from pre-site inspection, overseeing the delivery of machines, assembling the machines through to training end users.
- Act as a key point of contact for the customer, you will represent the brand and communicate with key stakeholders from production managers to small business owners.

**Selection Criteria**

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to be able to tick the list below.
- An engineering or trade qualification (Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Mechatronic or equivalent).
- Current and unrestricted driver’s licence.
