**The Role**:
The Technical Repair Specialist is an in-house role providing in house testing, repair and service work on gate motors and circuitry to support our trade customers and end-users.

**In this role, you will be responsible for**:

- Accurately recording and processing incoming repairs and warranty claims
- Perform service work on gate automation equipment at service desk. Including complete strip and rebuild of units, soldering and circuit testing
- Assist walk in trade customers and users with technical information
- Assist with preparation of custom modifications including the preparation of solar gate motors
- Maintaining and developing customer relationships with existing and new customers.
- Be self-motivated and driven to complete tasks at hand.
- Have a high level of attention to detail.
- Keep service desk and area neat and tidy
- This role would suit someone working in a similar role in a gate automation company or someone who has been a field technician and is looking for a change in environment with more regular hours.
- This role would also suit someone who is comfortable working with circuit boards and has an interest in electronics and or mechanical repairs even if it is not within the gate automation industry. Examples include electronic hobby enthusiasts or someone working in a similar position in an electronics sales store such as Jaycar.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 38 - 40 per week
