An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Queensland Treasury's Strategic Information Branch as a Data Analytics Manager. Reporting to a highly engaged Director, the Data Analytics Manager will work on high-value programs of work within an agile, innovative, and fast-paced team. You will closely collaborate with Treasury and related client groups, designing, developing, and operating a range of data and analytical products that support decision-making and provide valuable insights into economic, fiscal, and investment policy. Further, the role will contribute to the implementation of Treasury's Information Management and Data Analytics Strategy, focusing on enhancing Treasury's capability to leverage data and information effectively.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**As the Data Analytics Manager, you will**:

- Lead and Manage: Support the Director in leading and managing a range of coordinated and effective data, analytics, and technology services and products for clients.
- Project Manage: Lead and manage products, projects, schedules, resources, funding, risks, and issues across branch activities.
- Represent Treasury: Act as a representative of Treasury in negotiations with service providers, external data providers, internal and external clients, and interagency collaborations and initiatives.
- Lead: Provide strong leadership and expertise in designing and implementing data/analytics policies, products, services, and advice.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following:

- Project Management Experience: A proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects, with a focus on risk and issue management in a fast-paced environment.
- Product/Project Management: Demonstrated ability in product and/or project management of data/analytics/technology initiatives.
- User-Centered Design: Proficiency in user-centered design, business analysis, capability modeling, or change management.
- Technical Background: Prior experience with data/analytics/IT and proficiency in business, information, solution, and technology design and/or architecture.
- Expert Knowledge: Expert knowledge of business processes, including contemporary fiscal, economic, and statistical information and models required to support them.
- Flexibility and Priority Management: Demonstrated ability to work flexibly across multiple projects and activities while effectively managing competing priorities.
