**About the Role**

This is an interim leadership role managing the Category Management Teams responsible for both indirect and direct spend.

You will manage a sizeable team working across a broad array of spend that includes corporate and operational / engineering spend which will increase as capital projects commence.

In addition to the classic requirements for a successful procurement function including managing the teams responsible for spend analysis, source to contract, category strategies and supplier management you will ensure that optimised outcomes are achieved with a focus on creating value, pricing, risk, sustainability and governance.

As well as ensuring that the commercial requirements of the function are achieved you will be responsible for working with key stakeholders and the senior leadership team to ensure that procurement is viewed as a value-add, business partnering model where roadblocks are removed and the broader business is supported by this role as a genuine procurement ambassador.
