Head of Finance Operations

Your Role

Provide financial operations and project support to the Business Departments and the various divisions within the Finance Department. Take a lead role in the deployment and implementation of major Finance related projects and drive the Continuous Improvement initiatives within Finance Operations.

**Your Responsibilities**:
**Responsible for Finance Operations including**:
Accounts Receivable - Oversee the Accounts Receivable function ensuring that the Regional targets are met. Support the Credit Control Manager in the delivery of the new IT initiatives (BAML/PSAR, TTP, Workview). Build a strong relationship with Brokers, Underwriters and the Operations Services Division (OSD) to minimise friction throughout the entire receivables process.

Accounts Payable - Responsible for management of all associated processes in relation to the Accounts Payable function (including Inter Company arrangements) in ensuring accuracy and timeliness in discharge of all payments. This includes implementation of effective controls, procedures, policies and service level agreements within the Local Team and the outsourced Accounts Payable Agents.

Treasury - Oversee the Treasury function. Ensure weekly and quarterly Treasury reporting to the Regional office is completed in line with requirements. Liaise with the TTP/UK Treasury to ensure daily funding is managed and bank reconciliations are completed monthly.

Finance offshoring - Responsibility for the Finance Departments Offshoring including the CBS in the Philippines, Finance Operations Centre in Malaysia, and GenPact in India. Leadership and responsibility for management of these teams.

Take a lead role in the Finance Continuous program from a Finance Operations Lens including active involvement in completing the business case, project management and project deployment.

Take the lead in regards to Finance related support for Strategic initiatives as it pertains to Finance Operations including Business Case, Portfolio Transfers and Opportunity Lifecycle Analysis. Work with the Business on full end to end analysis including investment, profitability, operational and opportunity cost impacts.

Generate, support, and implement specific initiatives that enable innovation, change and improvement in the Finance Operations function. Bandwidth for holistic thinking and idea generation to the capability of implementation of specific initiatives at an operational level.

Any other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as outlined by the Chief Financial Officer.

**Qualifications**:
**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
15+ years insurance experience with most recent experience in a Financial Controller or Finance Manager role.

CPA or CA qualified.

Ability to work with mínimal direction in a time sensitive environment.

Deadline driven, attention to detail, analytical with ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks.

Demonstratable strong communication and interpersonal skills working in a team environment that involves sharing information across departments and other internal clients.

Ability to demonstrate high degree of credibility and influence key stakeholders.

Ability to work at a holistic/strategic level as well as at an operational level.

Ability to work with a large diverse group of stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability working in a complex environment.

Proficient in use of MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
