Environmental Attendant

Permanent Part-time and Full-time positions available
- Location: Fiona Stanley Hospital, Murdoch
- 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm Availability including weekends

**About the Role**

You will be responsible for ensuring the Waste Management Service distributes clean bins and collects soiled bins from specific disposal rooms and waste collection points around the Hospital. All collected waste is segregated and disposed of in accordance to the type of waste and its disposal methods as per the service plan. OSHE and IP&M policies must always be adhered to.

- The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
- Demonstrated experience working with subcontractors.
- Ability to maintain appropriate relationships with team members and a broad range of stakeholders from external contractors to medical, nursing and clerical teams.
- Ability to work autonomously maintaining effective work outputs.
- Previous experience within a health care or hospitality environment (desirable).
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a customer orientated environment
- This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment, which includes a national police check as an essential selection component for this role._
