As the VCE and VET Compliance Manager, you will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of compliance systems, frameworks, and practices across VCE and VET offerings. You will manage compliance-related risks, lead audit preparedness and response, ensure adherence to legislative requirements, and support curriculum quality and consistency. This position will provide strategic leadership, expert advice, and coaching to staff across the organisation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the strategic direction and operational implementation of compliance frameworks for VCE and VET delivery.
- Monitor and ensure ongoing compliance with VCAA, ASQA, VRQA, and Skills First funding requirements.
- Serve as the institutional lead during internal and external audits and reviews, including ASQA and VRQA audits.
- Review the development, validation, and verification of curriculum, training packages, and assessment tools.
- Verify qualifications and industry currency of trainers and assessors.
- Ensure quality assurance practices are adhered to for training delivery, assessment outcomes, and student record management.
- Manage relationships with key regulatory authorities and funding bodies.
- Develop and deliver internal training programs to build compliance capability across teaching and administration staff.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures aligned with best practice compliance and governance.
- Act as a key advisor to senior leadership on compliance risks and legislative changes impacting VET and VCE programs.

**Qualifications**
- Postgraduate qualification in Education (required).
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience managing audits and compliance reviews (ASQA, Skills First, VRQA, or similar).
- Experience in verifying trainer qualifications and industry currency in a VET context.
- Extensive knowledge of VET and VCE frameworks, including curriculum development and validation practices.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching at VET or higher education level.
- Leadership capability, including experience managing teams and projects.
- Strong relationship management skills, with experience engaging regulators and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret complex legislative and regulatory documents, and provide strategic advice.
- High-level communication skills, including the ability to write reports, develop policies, and deliver training.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse risk, implement solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
