**About the role**

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and dynamic Team Leader to develop and lead the interdisciplinary team within the Cognitive, Dementia and Memory Service (CDAMS) & Movement Disorder Program (MDP) at Eastern Health.

The Cognitive, Dementia and Memory Service (CDAMS) is a specialist diagnostic clinic for people with early cognitive changes or people experiencing memory loss. The service provides expert clinical diagnosis, referral for appropriate investigations or other service providers. It also offers education, advice and support to assist patients and families to manage the condition.

The Eastern Health Movement Disorder Program (MDP) offers multi-disciplinary approach to people diagnosed with Parkinson’s and related disorders. The service provides strategies and exercise to manage movement difficulties and improve daily functioning. It also offers education, advice and support to assist patients and families to manage the condition.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will possess:

- The ability to collaboratively lead an interdisciplinary team
- Skills in managing daily service operations and clinical staff
- Strong leadership, communication, service administration, quality improvement and benchmarking skills
- High level of analytical thinking and investigative skills
- The ability to handle a range of complex issues including organisational change, conflict resolution and collaboration
- Drive professional and operational performance and ensure key performance indicators and targets are achieved
- Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the _Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice)_. Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment._
