**Associate Consultant, Strategy & Technology Group (STG)**

We are seeking a passionate Associate Consultants to join our Aon Strategy and Technology Group (STG) based in Sydney.

Aon STG transforms how consultancy services are provided to (re)insurance clients across geographies and solution lines. We have 500+ global specialists that bring market leading insights, underpinned by our extensive technology suite and Aon’s deep (re) insurance industry expertise, to produce high quality tailored advice and executable solutions. **What the day will look like**

The role will provide strategic consulting services to insurance and reinsurance clients to service projects which help them meet their strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include:

- Engage with (re)insurers to identify and prioritise value-maximising strategic initiatives
- Draft proposals and project initiation documents for high priority initiatives
- Lead the delivery of consulting projects to help (re)insurers to achieve their strategic goals
- Lead the production of consulting reports and other client deliverables
- Actively participate in the identification and communication of recommendations to clients
- Support the implementation and execution of strategic recommendations
- Support specific aspects of the client relationship alongside other STG colleagues
- Develop your internal network to connect with Aon’s market practitioners as required by client-focused activity

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**

You will be curious, keen to learn and eager to challenge the status-quo with fact-based recommendations.
- Minimum 1 years’ experience from a consulting background, (re)insurance or financial services.
- Interested in the insurance industry, its challenges, and evolutions
- Able to build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to demonstrate critical problem solving skills
- Good communication and engagement skills
- Good autonomy and organization
- Able to act with conviction and be a people-influencer with both managers and operational teams
- At ease with analysing large / complex data sets and distilling useful insights from them
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
