We are pleased to be offering an opportunity for a Medical Receptionist to join our team located within the Mater Private Hospital.
The role is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 7.5 hour shifts scheduled between the core hours of 6:15am and 11pm.

**What will you be doing**:

- Be the first point of contact for patients at reception
- Driving the delivery of high quality reception services
- Managing appointments to maximise customer service and clinic efficiency
- Providing excellent customer service and patient care
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers

**Key selection criteria**:

- Previous medical receptionist (highly desirable)
- Ability to multitask and prioritise
- Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Have patience and empathy to alleviate medical concerns for patients
