**A day in the Life of an Operational Risk Manager**

This first-line role is responsible for uplifting the operational risk and compliance frameworks on a regulatory program of work, to be used enterprise-wide.

You will support a lead in delivering the adoption of the new framework in line with the group program.

**Experience desired to succeed in the role**:

- 6 + years in an Operational risk role relating to internal controls, assurance, compliance, internal audit.
- Ideally you will have worked in a highly regulated industry such as financial services, insurance, energy or similar.
- Knowledge of risk processes, controls, obligations, and frameworks.
- Able to build trusted advisory relationships, orgnisation wide.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and ability to influence and challenge respectfully through collaboration.
- Strong analytics and problem-solving skills to develop insightful risk reporting.
- Ability to articulate and provide feedback in a constructive manner.
- Highly refined written and verbal communication skills.
