**About the position**

Due to recent growth in our business, we have an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic Supply Team as a Parts Interpreter. Reporting to the Supply and Purchasing Manager, the role will require you to think outside the box to effectively support site operations across the country.

The role will be responsible for purchasing a wide range of parts relating to a diverse range of vehicles and equipment:

- Determining appropriate parts requirements and support for site maintenance managers;
- Sourcing parts from preferred suppliers;
- Identifying alternative suppliers if / where required;
- Ensuring parts are delivered within specified timeframes;
- Communicating order status to site maintenance managers;
- Working with the warehouse team to dispatch the parts to site;
- Resolving accounts payable enquires relating to the orders you placed.

To be considered for this position you will need the below:

- You are a mechanic at heart (no mechanics qualification required)
- Highly Proficient in working with ERP Systems (SAP or JDE) and MS Excel (Preferred but not essential as training will be provided)
- Experienced in dealing with mining mobile equipment. (preferred but not essential)
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Results driven
- An energetic and positive can-do attitude
- High levels of attention to detail
- The ability to problem solve and think on your feet
