The **Procurement Manager (Technology & Digital)**will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative procurement approaches to ensure value optimisation and robust risk mitigation for technology and digital spend categories at RSL Queensland.

This role will provide advice and commercial guidance to internal stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor to operational leaders in technology and digital spend areas, leading to optimal outcomes for RSL Queensland aligned with the business strategies.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in our Brisbane office in Fortitude Valley. Whilst flexible, it will require attendance in the office 2-3 days a week.

**What’s required to succeed**:
Whilst process, governance and procurement best practice are important in this role, our focus will be on someone who has the demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with our stakeholders through a pragmatic and fit-for-purpose commercial approach. The purpose of this role will be to support and empower to ensure the best possible outcomes for our business.
- Tertiary Qualification (Diploma/Bachelor’s degree) In the areas of business, economics, finance or similar is essential.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience working within a commercial procurement environment managing technology & digital spend categories is essential.
- Demonstrable experience negotiating with significant IT vendors/providers.
- Attainment of, or working towards, a Professional education qualification in the Procurement field (CIPS or equivalent) is highly regarded.
- Proven knowledge of complex procurement, commercial and financial activities within a commercial procurement environment is essential.
- Demonstrated competencies in procurement management including market intelligence, analysis, risk mitigation, contract management and negotiation planning and execution is required.
- Fundamental knowledge of contracting practices.
- Demonstrated communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
