**Description**:
The Supported Living and Community living team support to people with disability to maintain and enhance their independence in their own home, also to build skills and confidence for those people with the goal to move out of their family home to live independently or with friends.
This service is centred around skill building, assisting participants to develop the skills they need to live a more independent lifestyle, through support with cooking, cleaning, budgeting and engaging with the community.
**Skills and Experiences**:
Desired Skills and Experience
Support female participants in attending to personal care
Ability to work alone both in Supported and Community Living
Have an understanding of person centred approaches and active supports
Have experience in behaviour management
Drivers License
First Aid Certificate
Experience working with people with a disability is desirable
Certificate IV in Disability
Well developed written and verbal communication skills
