**One of the largest hire companies across Australia are currently seeking a yard hand driver for there Burwood yard. This a permanent position direct with company. The Yard Hand Driver is a critical link between the client, our customers and their projects, big or small.**

**Role Requirements**:

- Help customers on how to safely use the equipment
- Perform pickup and delivery of equipment from customer sites to branches which includes safe handling of all equipment
- Providing great customers service to all clients and providing a high standard on the job
- Cleaning of branch facilities and maintenance of equipment and inspections as required
- Perform equipment 'check in' and 'check out' inspections

**About you**:

- **A current driver's license is a must**:

- The availability to work Saturday's if needed
- A level of physical fitness is required for the job and the ability to pass a drug test
- Strong communication skills
- Must have a good work ethic and be reliable and show up everyday
- Be proactive and keen to learn new skills
- A COVID-19 vaccination is preferred for this role as Kennards Hire operates as part of the construction industry and our customer sites may require this.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $67,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Signing bonus
