**WHAT YOU'LL DO**
- Assist the Product Lifecycle Senior Manager to shape the Training function (build the system) to integrate with customer Fundamental Inputs to Capability.
- Recruit and manage a team of skilled educators and trainers to support development of skills and attainment of qualifications in Operating and Maintaining Autonomous Underwater Vessels (AUVs) and other Maritime products.
- Lead the Training development team in the designing and developing of learning outcomes and training curricula, with consideration of e-learning modules, instructor-led courses, simulations, practical hands-on and/or blended learning programs.
- Identify, scope and deliver simulated and physical training environments to solidify the development of learning outcomes.
- Work with potential partners in the establishment and delivery of training activities.
- Develop and maintain a content library of training materials
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary improvements
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Provide support to trainers and facilitators in delivering training programs
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES**
- Applicable training qualifications in Instructional Design, Education, or related field
- At least 10 years of experience in curriculum development or instructional design in Further or Higher Education in technical domains
- Knowledge of Maritime Systems, including propulsion, electrical, and auxiliary systems - experience with subsea/ocean engineering operational procedures and equipment (including AUV launch and recovery systems) is advantageous
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Moodle, Aquilla)
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design models
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to translate complex information into easy-to-understand learning materials
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Creativity and innovation in developing engaging learning experiences
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a NV2 Security Clearance
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
