Accounts Bookkeeper

Sustainable Pty Ltd is a small Design & Construction company with over 40 years’ experience in delivering award-winning, design-led sustainable homes across Brisbane, the Darling and Southern Downs and broader south-east Queensland.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a part-time employee or ABN contractor Accounts Bookkeeper.

**This position requires**:

- A minimum of 15 hours per week
- 5 years’ experience in a similar position using MYOB
- Good communication skills
- Computer literacy (particularly Microsoft Office Suite, e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Sound mathematical skills, high administration/organisational skills and be team focused in a small office
- An ability to work unsupervised, handle pressure and work to deadlines
- Must be available to work within normal business hours

**Main Responsibilities (but not exclusive of)**:

- MYOB data entry for Accounts Receivable/Payable
- Employment payroll, including superannuation processing
- Daily sales and bank reconciliation in MYOB
- Preparing operations reports monthly
- Maintaining a daily cash flow
- Ensuring company compliance with internal and external accounting policies
- Organised office management
- General administration duties as required

**Previous experience using MYOB and Excel is essential**

**Prior accounts experience in the Building & Construction industry is preferred**
