**Job Description**:
The Preventative Mental Health lead is a leadership role responsible for the strategic development of Smiling Mind programs, the translation of evidence into practice and effective program delivery that achieves impact. The goal of this role is to ensure programs have a high degree of impact, harnessing the power of technology to reach people at scale and achieve high levels of engagement and participation in self-directed mental health and wellbeing activities.

As the lead of this function, you will be responsible for taking a strategic approach to translating evidence, staying across sector advancement and opportunities, and leading the translation of science into products and programs that have high impact and high engagement across our audiences. You will be accountable for the creation and quality assurance of all evidence based Smiling Mind program content across our entire product ecosystem. This ranges from digital content (app, online workshops), workshops and training.

**Qualifications**:

- A clinical, research or public health background with relevant qualifications (e.g. psychology)
- Experience in program development and planning
- Experience in delivery of programs across digital platforms and strong digital experience
- Experience leading a research and evaluation team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- You're an experinced and passionate leader
- Accountability, ability to work to timelines and manage competing tasks
- Ability to build and foster relationships
- A belief in mindfulness, its practice, and its ability to support mental health
