Finance Officer | 4-6 Month Temporary Role | Aged Care | Hills District

This aged care provider based in the Hills District is looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on a temporary 4-6-month basis. This organisation is a market leader in their field and a stalwart within the community and area.

**Your new role**

Reporting to the CFO and situated within the Finance team, this role is responsible for handling the Accounts Payable function and supporting the team through a process improvement project. The duties of the role will include:
- Timely payment of supplier accounts, petty cash reimbursements and urgent “non-Creditor” expenditures- Reconciliation of supplier/creditor accounts and other reconciliations relevant to AP- Prepare schedules relating to payment or accruals- Confirming base data extracted from invoice automation system for invoices received- Coding of invoices to correct programs to drive the approval workflow- Responding to invoice rejections due to incorrect coding- Reviewing unapproved invoices and prompting user approvals

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills/requirements:
- 3-5+ years of experience within an Accounts Payable position- High level computer literacy, including experience with accounting software packages (preferably SAP Concur)- High level of attention to detail, ability to work schedules and timelines- Exceptional written and oral communication skills- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
