Accounts Payable officer wanted for 4 Month Fixed Term Contract in Government Organisation. April start

**Your new company**

A large Local Government organisation is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their team for a fixed term to cover extended leave.

This role is located in Oran Park with option to work from home some days.

**Your new role**

Working with the Senior Accounts Payable officer, duties include:

- High volume processing of supplier invoices
- Reconciliations
- Entering PO and invoice details in various systems
- Assisting with payment runs
- Supplier queries

**What you'll need to succeed**

Ideally you will have:

- Previous experience in a high volume transaction processing role
- Government experience, ideally at local level
- Strong Systems Skills
- Strong understanding of GST
- Excellent communication and customer services skills
- High attention to detail
