**Your next opportunity**

We are seeking a passionate leader to join our team as a Quarry Manager and manage our Wollert site, to provide leadership and manage the day-to-day operations and challenges of the site.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a diverse team to drive the success of the Quarry. With an uncompromising commitment to safety you will lead the team to achieve performance and profit targets. You will ensure the success of the quarry whilst also maintaining a high level of standard for excellence.

**The role**:

- Ultimate responsibility for safety performance of the site
- Driving the achievement of production targets
- Providing team leadership
- Managing environmental compliance and quality control
- Providing superior customer service to our internal and external stakeholders as required
- Planning & monitoring extraction, production and inventory
- Recognise and drive plant and operational improvements.
- Drive and lead cultural change and provide excellence in customer service.

**What Are We Looking For?**
- Ability to lead, manage and motivate a diverse team of operators
- Experience with managing budgets, P&L statements and understanding finances & costs
- Relevant experience within a quarry operation is desirable but not essential
- Experience with manufacturing processes
- Strong leadership attributes including good people management skills and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage, influence and build rapport with stakeholders from a variety of functions to effectively manage projects
- Experience with community engagement
- High levels of resilience and a determination to deliver successful outcomes
