**MarTech & Automation Product Specialist**

**What can you expect?**

As MarTech & Automation Product Specialist, this role has two important functions. The first, is as Product Lead for Marketing Automation, responsible for Marketing Automation Strategy, the development of our annual Automation Roadmap, Automation Program performance & reporting, new Automated experience design and the optimisation of existing experiences, and supporting the broader team as an Automation SME. The second, is to work as part of our MarTech team on ideas and best practice principles & solutions to build best in class website & digital experiences.

**We will count on you to**:

- Engaging with the external market and establishing key relationships within the industry to understand SFMC trends and best practice implementation of SFMC capability within the Mercer context.
- Development of a clear Automation strategy that considers the full Superannuation Customer Lifecycle.
- Management of Mercer’s Automation Program including reporting monthly on program performance internally and supporting reporting to our clients.
- Drive the development of new automated customer journey design when opportunities present to create new products and experiences.
- Educate & support the Marketing Managers across the team as an Automation SME, reviewing journey specifications & ensuring what will be put in to market works.
- Development of product requirements and specification for new releases whether capability or platforM/Functionality
- Actively involved in introducing, socialising and discussing MarTech products with existing and prospective clients

**What you need to have**:

- Ideally 8+ years’ experience in consumer marketing, communications with knowledge of multiple marketing disciplines.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud in essential
- Proven track record in developing and executing marketing operations processes to improve productivity and efficiency
- Ability to think laterally and creatively, and superior communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence outcomes at all levels of the organisation
- Client and customer focus, delivers results, builds relationships, exercises sound judgment
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to judge competing priorities
- Ability to adapt communication style and influence strategy to meet different audience needs or to appeal to others whose support is important
