**The opportunity**

Our client is a community focused federal government agency. They have an exciting opportunity available for a **Digital Engagement Strategy Advisor** at the **Assistant Director level**, to join the Co-design and Engagement Branch in making sure that Agency participants, nominees, carers, families and disability sector stakeholders are informed about and engaged in the design, delivery, and evaluation of operations.

12-month initial Labour Hire contract with the opportunity to extend. EL1 level role offering $585 daily + Superannuation. To be based out of either **Richmond or Geelong**.

This is a hybrid position offering 2 days working from home, with the remaining 3 on site. 37.5-hour work weeks, with 8-hour days expected.

**About the role**:
The EL1 Assistant Director Digital Engagement Strategy Advisor is an important **team leadership** position within the Agency and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail. It will provide the leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for team members and contractors.

The position will exercise a considerable degree of independence to engage in very complex problem solving and issues management within the Co-design and Engagement Branch. The position will exercise sound decision-making

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Providing specialist and technical advice to Senior Executives on the use of digital technologies to deliver engagement and co-design activities
- Providing specialist knowledge and expertise on new and innovative approaches to engaging with people with disability and other stakeholders
- Developing, implementing and evaluating digital engagement strategies
- Collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to improve the way we capture and analyse engagement data and insights to inform decision-making
- Developing complex policies, plans and strategies that require a detailed analysis of diverse research, data and views
- Preparing reports, briefing papers, speeches, Ministerial correspondence and discussion papers for review by Senior Executives
- Providing advice and support on policy management, strategic planning, reporting and forecasting to identify priority areas for team direction, engagement and issues management.
- Representing the Agency in stakeholder interactions and public facing events, delivering messaging and ensuring opportunities for representation for people with disability, their families and carers, community, mainstream and diverse cohorts of stakeholders.

**About you**
- ** Australian citizenship is a requirement to be eligible for this position**:

- Experience with designing, implementing and evaluating digital engagement strategies
- Experience with digital engagement tools and technology
- Experience with managing Customer Relationship Management systems
- Experience with preparing data and insights reports using quantitative and qualitative data
- Prior experience within Disability or Government environments highly regarded
- Experience using Darzin advantageous
