**About the role**

The Course Advisor is responsible for generating domestic, higher education new student enrolments for EDU’s higher education entity - Ikon Institute of Australia (Ikon).

The role will be reporting to Future Students, Team Leader and will provide accurate and timely information to prospective students to promote Ikon’s courses and to assist and support them in completing their enrolment.

This role also offers a target-based incentive, in addition to the salary.

**About you**

You are a passionate about sales, with proven experience in the domestic student market. You enjoy sharing product information and create an interest in individuals to commence their learning journey with us.

You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer proficiency, and is comfortable working towards targets and deadlines.

You have proven ability to work well in a team as well as autonomously.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Domestic student recruitment**
- Nurture leads within the defined processes and timeframes, ensuring timely responses and information is provided to all prospective students.
- Regularly monitor the lead funnel to ensure prospective students are being nurtured in accordance with intended customer journeys
- Support prospective students in completing their enrolment
- Collaborate with the Admissions team as required to obtain additional information from prospective students
- Record accurate data in the CRM system (currently Salesforce) in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the Future Students, Team Leader to organise meetings and deliver course information to Ikon’s partners
- Assist in the delivery of “Product Discovery” sessions with academic staff and other relevant stakeholders
- Gather and provide feedback from prospective students, and insights into emerging market and customer trends, to the Future Students, Team Leader
- Attend key recruitment events including Open Days and career events (some out of hour’s work will apply) to present information about Ikon’s courses to prospective students

**Operational reporting**
- Assist in the preparation of operational reports on the performance of the lead funnel, identifying relevant issues
- As required, gather feedback from prospective students and report same to the Future Students, Team Leader
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and as relevant, assist in the implementation of same

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- A minimum Bachelor qualification or higher
- At least 3 years’ experience in a sales role within a higher education environment
- Sales experience with demonstrated success in achieving KPIs and targets
- High-level understanding of key requirements of relevant regulatory frameworks, especially the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021
- Proven ability to nurture leads from first contact to conversion
- Experience with Salesforce. HubSpot or other Customer Relationship Management software
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Strong attention to detail and results focused
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
