Are you looking to work in a supportive organisation where you feel valued? We are currently recruiting for a Bid Coordinator for a construction organisation with offices based in Newcastle.
This organisation has approximately 60 people in their Newcastle office with around 5 people in your team. They believe they have the working culture down packed with a collaborate team approach and working in hybrid fashion.
As the Bid Coordinator in Newcastle, you will manage the end-to-end production of quality tenders/Bids and Expressions of Interest for construction projects up to $20m and above.
A supportive transition phase will be provided as well as industry-specific upskilling if you are new to construction.

**Responsibilities will include**:
- End-to-end compilation of tender submissions, project bids and proposals
- Review tender/EOI documentation and ensure compliance with client requirements
- Lead bid coordination meetings to track deliverables and manage timely development of responses
- Compile information and graphics for submissions, design and format response using Adobe Indesign
- Liaise with internal and external personnel to source information and documents for submissions
- Ongoing content management and maintenance, including updating capability statements, personnel CV’s, and marketing materials
- Update CRM and assist marketing/communications team where required
You will also ensure the tender process is structured and timely, the content is clear and concise, and that proposals create an appealing visual impact with clients.
**Who we are looking for**:
- Experience producing high quality proposal documents, such as bids, tenders, pitch documents or grants/awards submissions
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to proactively collaborate with various departments to extract submission material
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Marketing/graphic design experience with proficiency in MS Office
- Self-starter, able to work both autonomously and collaboratively as required
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and multiple tenders
- Able to work accurately, methodically and succinctly
- Well organised with a high attention to detail
- Experience in Adobe suite, especially Indesign
- Experience within a construction or engineering environment would be desirable but not essential
