Economic and Financial Data Analysis role for Consultancy Firm in NSW

**Your new company**
Leading supplier of high-quality consulting services to government and health industry clients. A permanent opportunity has arisen to support the Director of Financial and Economic Analysis in enhancing and building on their reputation as a leading supplier of high-quality visualisation services to clients in the health, aged care, and disability services sectors.

**Your new role**
- Developing relationships with clients and working groups to provide high-quality consulting services
- Executing project plans using best practice project management, monitoring and governance processes
- Performing data analysis, telling meaningful stories from data, and building value add visualisations
- Preparing high quality written reports presenting methodology, evidence, findings and recommendations
- Preparing proposals in response to Requests for Quotations
- Assisting in developing business plans for additional projects generating revenue growth for the division
- Mentoring and upskilling junior staff by coaching and providing technical guidance
- Promoting the firm as a leading provider of high-quality financial, economic and data analysis services
- Keeping abreast of trends and advancements in the field of health, aged care and disability services

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tertiary qualifications in econometrics, statistics, data analytics, mathematics or commerce
- Experience in the health, aged care, disability, or other social services sectors desirable
- Previous experience in management consulting and government roles beneficial
- Excellent skills in project management including designing project plans with data analytics, risk management and stakeholder engagement plans
- Skilled in data analysis and visualisations with ability to tell a meaningful story of complex data
- Demonstrated experience in writing clear and concise advisory reports
- Experience in statistical programs such as R and Python and ability to use PowerBI
- Demonstrated skills in mentoring, training and coaching junior staff
- Excellent networking and relationship building skills
- Proven capacity to operate in a commercial environment
- The ability to think creatively and innovatively to design solutions to client’s problems
