This is a wonderful opportunity for a Principle Aboriginal Health Care Worker to work within a multi-disciplinary team. This senior position will provide flexible, holistic and culturally sensitive health and case management services to Aboriginal children up to 12 years of age and their families. The role will also include engagement with local organisations providing support to Aboriginal families.

The position is based in the Kids Hub Intervention team and will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of Medical, Nursing, Allied Health clinicians and other support positions.

This is a fabulous opportunity to be part of a new service in a nation-wide roll out of Kids Hubs jointly funded by NSW Health and the Australian Government to provide early intervention mental health and wellbeing support for children up to the age of 12 years. The Kids Hub will be prioritising referrals for vulnerable families and the intervention approach requires the child to be seen within the context of the family and their social support structures.

The Kids Hub service will be based in Wollongong with outreach provided to the Shoalhaven area.
