The Ownership Team at Able Truss are seeking a proactive, analytical and engaging leader to head up their Sunshine based Timber Truss & Frame business for the long term.

Based in Sunshine West, we specialise in the fabrication and supply of roof trusses, floor trusses, joists, prefabricated wall frames, framing materials and making our customers’ lives easier Our success has been built around our core values of straight talk, positivity, reliability & security for our people, team & customers.

**About the Position**

We are now in a great position to write the next chapter for our business and are seeking a leader who will join forces with us, take charge of the day to day and help us to create and implement a new Business Plan that is created to achieve considered and steady future growth.

Key areas of responsibility will include;
**1.** **Lead the Business’ Performance **-you will have full profit and loss accountability and your primary objective will be to operate the business efficiently and expand in a profitable manner.

**2.** **People, Team & Culture** - you will be leading a close knit and hardworking team of 10 people [6 in Production Crew and 4 in the Office Team]. As the team’s leader, your goal will be to engage and develop each team members so that collectively and as a group the team consistently delivers quality work, that is on time and in full.

**3.** **Customer Relationships, Sales & Business Development **- key to your success will be your ability to establish and maintain great customer relationships, lead new business development initiatives, and successfully onboard new customers.

You’ll be inheriting a great base to start from which includes a hardworking and loyal team, a sound financial position (no debt), an established customer based and a well-equipped facility with long standing processes and procedures in place.

**Right fit for you?**

This position is ideally suited to a leader who has experience working as a General Manager, Operations Manager and/or Sales Manager, specifically within the truss and frame industry, residential building industry and/or within an industry that directly supplies to the residential building industry.

Additional Selection Criteria includes;
- A well-developed leadership skillset - experience hiring, developing a team, setting performance expectations etc.
- Effective communication skills - you will be a skilled communicator who connects well and engages others;
- Good financial literacy - including profit and loss experience and the ability to analyse financial information and prepare financial reports;
- Sound numeracy and literacy skills; and,
- A hunger to lead a business through an important growth phase and beyond
