**Qualifications**:
**Primary Objective**:
Diagnosis and carry out repairs of Electrical Motor, Servo Motors, Spindle Motors, Pumps, Transformers and all related plant and equipment ensuring the work is preformed efficiently, to the highest standard and the highest quality is maintained.

**Specific Duties**
- Dismantling and testing Electric Motors, Servo Motors, Spindle Motors and related plant at component level.
- Diagnose reason for failure, carry out root cause analysis, remedial work as required
- Test and record all results.
- Test feedback units - encoders, resolvers and tacho and repair and/or replace
- Setting up different feedback devices.
- Ensure all test reports and documentation is filled in correctly

Observe all safety procedures and use proper protective gear.
- Order parts required for repairs
- Assist with training apprentices and trainees as required
- Comply with and understand company policies, procedures and safety requirements
- Ensure the highest standard are maintained in Safety, Quality and Housekeeping
- Confer with Workshop Supervisor/Senior Servo Motor Technician on matters as deemed necessary

- Motivation - the position calls for a highly committed person who is committed to the objectives of the business.
- Flexibility - overtime is a requirement for this position often at a very short notice.
- Special skills - ability to foster good employee relations and build team effort and promote a strong company image with customers, suppliers and associates.

Pay: $73,150.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

Work Location: In person
