This role forms part of the site leadership team and therefore is pivotal to the effective operations, exceptional pet care and customer relations of our boarding sites. You will support the Manager and Assistant Manager to lead the team to provide the best-in-industry care.

About the Role

Duties and responsibilities

As part of ABBA's leadership team:

- Utilise Pet Booking system as per company procedure to effectively manage bookings and collect key pet information and payments
- Contribute to and supervise the process of feeds, cleans, medications, activities, and social play
- Provide feedback and coaching to team when process is being incorrectly completed
- Effectively plan and delegate tasks on a daily basis to team members
- As required review and adjust task delegation based on changing people and pet situations
- Review run allocation of pets on a consistent bases and adjust accordingly to minimise negative dog behaviours
- Provide regular updates to site leadership and team on negative behaviours identified
- Update pet booking with key behaviour information
- Escalate to site leadership or GM any aggressive dogs as a matter of urgency
- Ensure our teams are delivering on the pupdates, activities and add-ons that means that CPC provides the best service and care in market
- Provide administration support for site manager to ensure we are operating in a safe, effective, and professional manner
- Daily observations of team operations and site to ensure we are delivering on our service and standards model
- Provide positive and constructive feedback of performance to team on a daily basis to build a high-performance culture
- Assist site manager with the training and development of team members
- Respond to any pet health issues with urgency
- Promptly provide pet health updates to owners in a clear, concise, and effective way in line with our processes
- Escalate any site concerns, team, or pet incidents to appropriate manager in a timely manner which is reflective of severity of situation
- Assist leadership team with the implementation of centre safety and emergency procedures
