**THE OPPORTUNITY**
**Salary**:$78,564 - $111,391 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super + annual leave loading (dependant on qualifications and experience).
**Time Fraction**:Full Time, 1.0 EFT.**
**Location**:Glen Waverley and Moorabbin campus.
**WWCC**: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
**Police Check**:Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
**Position Status**:Contract of employment to 18 July 2025.
Are you passionate about sports education and ready to inspire the next generation of professionals? The Department of Lifestyle, Tourism & Events is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to teach theoretical and practical sessions to students in sport and event management.
You will manage the learning process using diverse teaching and assessment strategies, ensuring they meet the unique needs of each student. Your responsibilities include creating innovative resources and assessment tools, maintaining strong industry and stakeholder relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service. As an integral team member, you will contribute to course coordination and department operations, helping students achieve their educational goals. Holmesglen has a partnership with St Kilda FC, and the Sport and Event Management program will also be held at RSEA Park.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or its predecessors is required, along with relevant industry qualifications and knowledge.
- Deliver innovative teaching and assessment strategies tailored to diverse student needs in sports and event management contexts.
- Collaborate with sports industry stakeholders to customise training and ensure alignment with current industry trends and requirements.
- Possess well-developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, along with strong customer service abilities to liaise effectively with students.
- Demonstrate strong organisational and teamwork skills, contributing to course coordination, marketing, and operational excellence.
- Foster inclusive learning environments that support and engage students from diverse backgrounds and with varied abilities.
