**THE POSITION**

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Maintenance guru to join our Port of Brisbane team. The main function of this role is to undertake upkeep and repair tasks in line with company policies and operate at a level of quality that exceeds expectation.

**To be considered for this role you will have / be**:

- Be proficient in the use of intermediate hand and power tools
- Be mechanically minded, have an eye for details and excellent problem-solving abilities
- The ability to both work with other trades and work autonomously
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Be committed to continuous improvements and quality customer service

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Grounds upkeep - including garden maintenance
- Take responsibility for the delivery of general repairs and maintenance services
- Respond to any reactive general maintenance work in a timely manner
- General maintenance works, including installation and repairs
- Maintenance of equipment, roller doors, boom gates and basic plumbing tasks
- Faults and breakdowns are rectified in a timely manner
- Other maintenance tasks as they arise
