**Description**

Dreamworld Night Market is The Gold Coast's newest night market. With food trucks, live tunes, Friday markets, family entertainment & ticketed events, we’re serving up good times the Northern Gold Coast deserves, every weekend. Located inside Dreamworld’s iconic Theme Park, the night markets is a destination for locals, travellers, day time revellers and special celebration whilst offering unreal street food, delicious drinks, and live entertainment every weekend. Reporting to the General Manager Commercial and Facilities, the Operations Manager - Night Markets is responsible for all commercial and operational elements of the Dreamworld Night Markets, ensuring a safe and compliant experience is provided to both guests and team members as well as delivering a profitable operation with focus at future growth.

**The role is responsible for**:

- Being the key contact for the Dreamworld Night Markets, managing all elements of the internal and external stakeholder relationships,
- Contributing to the growth, development, and profitability of the Night Markets by forming and fostering relationships and increasing revenue and guest satisfaction,
- Coordinating the weekly execution of the Dreamworld Night Markets, including all elements of bump in and bump out, and operating efficiencies,
- Being the Night Market’s Duty Manager and providing supervision, leadership and guidance to internal team members working at the Night Markets, with a focus on safe operations, attention to detail, presentation of staff and venue,
- Scheduling of multiple venders, entertainment and activations each week to ensure guest experience is maintained
- Acting as the Responsible Manager for the purposes of Liquor Licensing and ensuring all applicable Food Safety and Safe Work requirements are met,
- Liaising with key stakeholders at all levels to ensure that required works and deliverables are completed on time,
- Displaying autonomous ability with an approach to suggest new and exciting additions to the markets,
- Driving weekly performance meetings in conjunction with internal specialists and the Night Market’s Stakeholder Group to analyse financial performance, operating practices, and forward growth initiatives.
- Minimum 3-5 Years in a similar supervisory/management role
- Responsible Manager of Licensed venue certification (currently hold or willing to obtain)
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
- Advanced Resuscitation certification

**About you**:

- Capable of exercising appropriate judgement and showing discretion as managing regulatory and licensing requirements is required,
- Reliably able to work evenings and weekends. This is a key feature of this position, as is a devotion of reasonable time needed to complete position requirements,
- Ability to supervise, lead and motivate employees,
- Qualifications in Business, First Aid, Hospitality or similar, Food Safety Supervisor Certificate, MS Office Suite plus budget parameter skills and experience in performance management are all desirable criteria.
