**Position: Support Worker/Carer**

**The Role**:
As a Support Worker/Carer in Burswood, WA you will be responsible for assisting clients with various daily activities, including showers, dressing, grooming, toileting, medication monitoring, shopping, meal preparation, housekeeping, respite care, social support, and transportation to appointments.

This client requires a reliable carer who can provide personal care, domestic assistance and companion care for 9 hours per week, between 9am-12pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Support Workers are able to pick up shifts with other clients in their area to build their hours if they wish.

This client requires someone with experience with dementia who has strong persuasion skills. Having experience with middle eastern culture is an advantage.

**Essential Skills and Qualifications**:

- Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- National Police Clearance Certificate
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Registered vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- Smartphone
- Must have availability Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings.
- Must have experience with Dementia and strong persuasion skills.
