**About the role**

This is a great opportunity to be a leader in developing new approaches to risk, policy and research governance in the RFS.

As part of a small team focused on delivering valued insights to support evidence based decision making across the organisation, you will play a key role in designing, developing and implementing frameworks to manage strategic risks and maximise opportunities to provide more effective fire and emergency services to the communities of NSW.

We are interested in hearing from people with a wide range of backgrounds, particularly those with experience in one of more of the following areas:

- Enterprise risk management
- Strategic policy management
- Research governance
- Project management in a corporate governance environment
