**About the client**:
Located just 45 minutes from the Perth CBD on the picturesque backdrop of the Darling Scarp. With the Tonkin Highway extending to Mundijong Road as well as a new Byford train station as part of the Metronet project, our Shire is growing at lightning speed.

**About the role & duties involved**:

- Processing and monitoring all incoming and outgoing correspondence in a timely manner
- Creating and maintaining planning and compliance records
- Coordinating internal comments on planning and compliance issues
- Create Agendas and Minutes for meetings and ensure calendar invites and agendas are distributed to technical officers weekly
- Maintain Officer workload spreadsheets
- Arrange team meetings and prepare Agendas and Minutes
- Provide confidential administrative services to the Coordinator and Manager of Planning
- Orders & Requisitions on a daily basis
- Preparing Requisitions

**To be considered for this role, you will have**:

- Strong communication skills
- Experienced and motivated Support Officer
- Excellent customer service skills
- Efficient in Microsoft Suite
- A strategic mindset and the ability to anticipate potential issues
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and nurture positive relationships with stakeholders.
