**Your new role**
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced payroll manager to join our team, where you will bring a continuous improvement approach to payroll processes and systems across the ANZ region. You will enjoy developing your payroll and systems team to deepen their expertise, and identify opportunities for increased efficiencies.
**Reporting to the HR Director APAC, your responsibilities will include**:
- Managing payroll and payroll compliance for Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea, in line with legislative, industrial relations, workers compensation and accounting standards
- Coordination of remuneration review and share scheme programs
- Managing the month and year end reconciliations, ensuring these are completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Monitor, maintain and implementation of systems, processes and reports that facilitate effective decision-making and support for the business
- Support HR Director with implementation of the compensation and benefits strategy
**To be successful in this opportunity, you will have**:
- Demonstrated payroll management experience, with a strong working knowledge of payroll processes, legislation and standards in Australia (+ New Zealand highly advantageous)
- Previous experience managing payroll in an organisation with a blue collar and white collar workforce, where Enterprise Agreements, Awards and salaried arrangements apply
- Demonstrated continuous improvement approach, you enjoy optimising processes
- Working knowledge of Chris21 + Kronos, or similar systems
- Collaborative leadership style, you have previously led a team of payroll & systems specialists
- Excellent communication skills, you are confident liaising with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation through to the executive level
- Previous experience administering share schemes
- Degree qualifications in business or related will be highly regarded
- Experience with SAP Success Factors will be of added advantage
