**What We Are Looking For**

We are currently seeking a casual Warehouse Assistant to join our team at Tullamarine and assist our Warehouse Team.

Standard working hours will be 6am-1pm on weekdays, with work schedule to be advised in advance

Please note overtime hours may be required, with overtime rates paid accordingly.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
- Manual handling and lifting (up to 25kg)
- Receiving and recording inbound goods
- Ensuring that products are safely stored in appropriate warehouse and store locations
- Ensuring timely dispatch of goods
- Prompt resolution of any issues and discrepancies that may arise in relation to damage, quantity and quality of inbound/outbound goods
- Facilitating regular stock checks when required and performing stocktake activities
- Liaising closely with office staff to ensure open communication and a smooth operation
- Maintaining order and cleanliness of warehouse
- Driving continuous improvement and efficiency

**Experience and skills required**:

- Forklift Licence will be highly regarded
- Comfortable in working in cold storage environment (constant temperature of 10 degrees Celsius)
- Previous warehouse / distribution experience
- Picking and Packing skills are required
- Experience monitoring inventory and stock levels
- Must be able to multi-task
- Autonomous and driven
- Ability to take instruction and adapt to changes
- Available Monday-Friday 6am-5pm

**Requirements**:

- Drivers licence and a car
- Previous experience in working in a cold store environment (10 degrees Celsius)

**2 days per week to start, with opportunity for increased days depending on workload**

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $27.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Tullamarine, VIC 3043: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 1 year (required)
