Due to continued growth, they are in need of a DC Operations Manager to join their QLD team. Position highlights include:
- Strategic Impact: As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of the Warehouse & Distribution Operations. Your leadership and action will directly contribute to enhancing operational efficiency, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Diverse Scope: With responsibilities encompassing DC operational efficiency, improvement projects, staff management, KPI achievement, workplace safety, and fleet management, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact across multiple areas of the business.
- Leadership Exposure: Reporting directly to the State Manager, you will have the chance to collaborate with senior leaders and contribute to the strategic direction of the company. Your insights and recommendations will be highly valued.
- Team Empowerment: Manage a dedicated team of approximately 25 staff members, serving as a role model and mentor. Inspire and empower your team to achieve their full potential while fostering a positive work environment and a strong culture of collaboration.
- Proven experience in operations management within a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Sound knowledge of inventory management, process improvement, and workplace safety practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Results-driven mindset, with a focus on meeting and exceeding operational KPIs.
- Familiarity with WH&S regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Experience in fleet management and a solid understanding of logistics are highly desirable.
