THE ROLE
CSR have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager (Gyprock/Plasterboard) to provide leadership and support to our team in Queensland.
Reporting to the General Manager Operations, you will be responsible to execute the manufacturing strategy for the Business Unit consistent with the business's market strategy and growth objectives. To supply consistent quality products, at agreed service levels and at a competitive cost. To drive continuous improvement, in all areas of operations, safety, and sustainability across the operations and to effectively manage capital work.
**Key Accountabilities**:
**Safety First**: Champion a culture of safety, making sure every team member feels empowered to speak up and take action with the CSR philosophy “never walk past”.
**Lead the team**: Working closely with our Manufacturing, Process Improvement, Engineering, Sales, Customer Service and Supply Chain teams across Queensland.
**Lead with Purpose**: Empower your team with a growth and learning mindset, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development.
**Lean into Success**: Embrace Lean Manufacturing Principles to streamline processes, creating value for our stakeholders and driving efficiency.
**Make an Impact**: Drive sustainability initiatives, aligning with our corporate goals and making a positive difference in our community.
**Strategic Vision**: Shape the future by contributing to setting and implementing business strategies alongside our leadership team.
**Empower Change**: Lead operational improvement programs, driving cost reductions and ensuring we meet our targets.
**Engineering Excellence**: Bring your technical expertise to the table, providing clear direction and solutions that support our business transformations.
To be successful for the role, you will have worked in a similar position with experience in an operational management level. You will have excellent Leadership and People Management skills.
