**The Role**

We are seeking an experienced **Membership Manager** to join our team and drive the culture and performance of our passionate membership team. The successful applicant must have a proven track record of personal success; have a desire to create a fun and vibrant culture within the club. Be able to lead a capable sales team towards achieving the club's sales target as well as maximising membership growth.

They must be fiercely competitive, creative and inspiring, have strong leadership ability and be energetic and motivational.

**The Membership Manager is responsible for**
- Achieving personal pre-determined sales targets.
- Managing, training and motivating a sales team to success.
- Creating business opportunities within the local corporate market.
- Planning and executing local level marketing and lead generating plans.
- Achieve membership growth budget ( through new member acquisition and Retention)

The position requires applicants to be available for **full time hours** and be flexible with working days as this position may require you to work on the weekends.

Skills & Attributes:

- Have a passion for fitness
- Results-driven with a track record for meeting or exceeding KPIs
- An understanding of the selling cycle within the fitness industry and sales techniques required to up-sell to a Premium offering
- Have strong customer service
- Previous experience in leading and mentoring a team
- Industry knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Hold current First Aid & CPR Certification
- Working With Children Check (or equivalent) & National Police Check
- Prior experience in fitness, sales, customer service or a retail environment is highly advantageous
