**About the role**

Every one of our team contributes to helping make our members’ world better. As a **Workforce Optimisation Analyst**, you will be responsible for a range of workforce management activities including staff rostering and scheduling, monitoring performance daily and contributing to the member experience through the achievement of agreed service level targets.

The dynamic management of resources across all service channels within Member Services to support first contact resolution and improve utilisation of resources is the primary function of this role. The role works closely with all roles within the Workforce Optimisation team to determine short to medium term resourcing needs for Member Services.

Key accountabilities will include:

- Determine, administer and communicate short term staff capacity and roster establishment for up to 6 weeks in advance across our Member Services division.
- Establish staff scheduling appropriate to the forecast, balancing leave and non-phone activity.
- Real time management of member servicing queues to ensure adequate coverage.
- Utilise skills-based resource routing to enhance the member experience.
- Manage all Member Services leave requests, including applicable absence related records and associated reporting.
- Identify trends, opportunities and needs within the assigned area of accountability as well as making recommendations for improvements.
- Maintain data and system integrity for efficient resourcing, monitoring and reporting to stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of systems and tools that generate continuous improvement within workforce planning practices and deliverables.

This role is available as a 6-month max-term/ secondment opportunity.

**About you**

- Knowledge and understanding related to workforce planning requirements and methodologies.
- A high level of organisational and time management skills while responding to frequent demands of multiple stakeholders.
- A highly developed ability to build rapport with stakeholders, influence and negotiate in order to achieve an optimum outcome or solution.
- A demonstrated ability to deliver within agreed timeframes and manage a range of competing priorities.
- Ability to work and embrace a changing and growth environment with regular changing priorities and developing opportunities.
- Understanding of strategic priorities and performance metrics of the business unit in order to make resource recommendations to the Leadership team.
