As a Barista, your primary role will be to brew and craft a variety of coffee beverages, ensuring they complement our doughnuts and uphold the quality associated with ADK. You’ll also maintain cleanliness standards and support the overall customer experience.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
- Accurately take and prepare customer orders, ensuring timely service.
- Craft and serve an array of coffee and espresso-based beverages, ensuring consistency in taste and quality.
- Explain the differences in coffee beans and roasts to customers, highlighting our chosen coffee supplier.
- Maintain and clean coffee-making equipment throughout the day, and perform thorough cleaning procedures at closing.
- Uphold ADK’s high-quality standards for both coffee and customer service.
- Support doughnut production as necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 6 months experience in the Melbourne coffee scene.
- DoFoodSafely Certificate required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of different coffee blends, beans, and brewing techniques.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in beverage preparation.
- Team player with flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of the new Food Safety Standards 3.2.2A.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $35.96 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
