Barista-All Rounders

The Fresh Collective is currently seeking passionate Casual Barista All-rounders to join their team at the Members Lounge at The Art Gallery of NSW's. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about coffee and have a strong desire to provide exceptional service in a dynamic environment.

About the role

  • Make coffee to a high quality and appearance
  • Take orders and enter in POS
  • Provide a high-quality service to guests
  • Work as an integral part of the front of house team
  • Day Shifts between Monday to Sunday - about 25 hrs/week
  • On Wednesdays, the day shifts may extend until 9pm
  • Hourly rate: Mon-Fri at $32.31 Sat at $38.78 Sun at $45.24 plus super

About You

  • Ideally 6 months+ Barista experience in a fast-paced environment, smaller café environment or kiosk
  • Knowledge and passion in making all types of espresso coffee
  • Ability to dial in grinders, maintain consistency during a busy burst.
  • Able to handle a variety of hands-on tasks: coffee, food service, cashier
  • Able to work both independently and within a team
  • Well presented with a great work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
  • Hold valid RSA
  • Valid full working rights in Australia
