Bars Manager

As our Bars Manager you will be working and collaborating with the Managers of our Food and Beverage Departments. You will be responsible for the creation, implementation, management and overseeing of our Beverage strategy and program across the resort. Your approach will be strategic and innovative with a strong focus on product differentiation and the development of service standards to improve revenue, profit, cost of sales and customer satisfaction.
We are looking for someone to join our team who has experience in a similar role within a multi Bar environment in a Resort or Hotel.

You will be responsible for Bar Management within the resort and the development and execution of future projects focusing and highlighting our beverage offerings. Supporting your Managers you will assist in overseeing the food and beverage operations to ensure that our business objectives, profit targets, customer service and quality standards are met.

This role is Full time working across a 7-day rotating roster.*

The Bars within the resort include: Azure Bar, Breeze Bar, Summer Salt Bar, Conferencing and Events (C+E) Bar and Botanica Bar

Your responsibilities with include but are not limited to:*
- Coordinating the operation of the Resort Bars during scheduled shifts.
- Contribute to daily shift briefings and regular team meetings to encourage effective two-way communication, facilitate operational improvements, and maintain high morale.
- In collaboration with your Managers, develop and implement a well-rounded training program to increase wine and beverage knowledge across the entire F&B operation, schedule and communicate training sessions.
- In conjunction with the Managers of our Food and Beverage Departments manage and monitor manpower planning, wages, outlet expenses and cost of sales.
- Take corrective actions, as required, to ensure budgetary targets are met. Address and resolve guest issues.
- Manage and collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to maintain and update the wine list to reflect products on hand and vintages; beverage lists and weekly specials.
- Be involved with meeting suppliers and key stakeholders to ensure partnerships and relationships are well maintained.
- Work with the Managers of our Food and Beverage Departments to innovate, create, develop, and implement the beverage program throughoutthe resort for approval from the Resorts Operations Manager.

**Requirements**:

- Min 3 Years, Multiple outlet and Bar Management experience in a Hotel, Resort or Multi-Venue environment
- Extensive Beverage knowledge and experience
- The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings and weekends
- Demonstrated Supervisory and training skills
- High standard of grooming, presentation and communication
- Confidence in conversing with our guests and clients
- Actively demonstrate pride in your work
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Current NSW RSA and drivers licence
- WSET qualification

**Salary**: $62,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
