The recently redeveloped RAC Ningaloo Reef Resort sits on the pristine shores of Coral Bay, a gateway to the World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Marine Park. Featuring 90 modern units, a resort-style pool, ocean-view dining, a contemporary clubhouse, and sustainable features like solar power and EV charging, it offers an unparalleled coastal experience.
Ahead of our grand reopening in mid-2026, we're seeking an experienced and passionate Bar Manager to lead our bar operations and create an inviting atmosphere for our guests.
What will you be doing?
In this role, you'll oversee daily bar operations, manage and train a team of attendants, and collaborate with the Resort leadership team to deliver an industry-leading outlet. From crafting cocktail menus to ensuring compliance and managing supplier relationships, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the bar experience at RAC Ningaloo Reef Resort.
Your day-to-day impact
Lead and manage the bar team, ensuring exceptional service standards.
Prepare and serve beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and coffee.
Develop and maintain supplier relationships and manage stock control.
Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, WHS, and harm minimisation requirements.
Manage rostering, budgets, wage costs, and reporting.
Drive positive guest experiences by reviewing feedback and implementing improvements.
Recruit, train, and coach staff to build a high-performing team.
What you'll bring to the team
Proven experience in hospitality, ideally in bar management or supervisory roles.
Strong leadership skills with a track record in coaching and developing teams.
Sound knowledge of liquor licensing, compliance, and safe work practices.
Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic resort environment and deliver memorable guest experiences.
RSA, Approved Managers Licence, and National Police Clearance required.
