Talent Butler is placing confidence with an extraordinarily successful advisory business that provides transactional guidance for retail and commercial property in Australia. An opportunity has been created for an Analyst to work in the Asset Management function, joining a lean, high-performing team in Sydney.

**The Business**

The business manages a portfolio of around 20+ assets including sub-regional shopping centres and A-Grade commercial offices on the East Coast of Australia, the vast majority being NSW and VIC with some in QLD. The purpose of this role is to assist in formulating and implementing asset strategies for assets under management on behalf of owners.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Director; this opportunity would suit someone who has had existing experience working for a property/funds or agency group in an analytical role. You’ll be reviewing asset plans, including income and expenditure cash flow as well as financial reports for investors.
With a keen eye for numbers, you will prepare asset reports for investors and approval papers, building financial models used for valuation purposes.
You will also assist in office operational and administrative matters, attend asset visits and work in partnership with their clients. Assisted by a wider team, the position will be both rewarding but also busy. You will be managing several assets and acquisitions simultaneously, so having good time-management experience is essential, as well as a disciplined approach to strategy, and detailed financial reporting.

**About you**
- You will have had around 1-5 years of relevant experience within commercial or retail property. It is expected that you will hold tertiary education within property development and / or valuations.
- You will work with passion and enthusiasm towards clearly defined goals and collaborate with the wider business units for broader business outcomes.
- With culture and values a key driver, you will be an effective communicator both professional with high levels of emotional intelligence.
- You will review ongoing business activities to think multiple steps ahead and present opportunities that enhance commercial opportunities.
- Having strong attention to detail and a focus on task management will help ensure success.
- The role may suit a valuer seeking a role outside of this space.
