**Description**:
As a Residential Underwriter, you’ll be at the heart of our underwriting operations, helping to manage risk and deliver value to our clients and partners. You’ll work closely with your team and leadership to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, maintain data integrity, and deliver exceptional customer service to our key stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Ensure compliance with guidelines to achieve budgeted revenue and profitability targets.
Support distribution plans and negotiate new and renewal business programmes as needed.
Develop and maintain relationships with intermediaries and other key stakeholders in the market.
Ensure the accuracy and consistency of all underwriting referrals and processes.
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your technical and underwriting skills.
Work closely with the claims team to understand risks and contribute to a consistent underwriting approach.
**Skills and Experiences**:
Minimum 2 years of experience in the insurance industry, a background in Property insurance is highly desirable.
Successful completion of Insurance qualifications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skill
A customer-focused mindset
Analytical and problem-solving skill
Time management skills
Highly proficient in Office 365
