**Who are we looking for?**

We’re looking for a **Stakeholder Engagement Consultant **to join our **Newcastle Environment and Community team.**

Join us as we strive to ensure a sustainable future for our communities and the world we live in.

Become part of our global network of skilled engineers, scientists, auditors, planners and environmental specialists, all working together to leave this world better than we found it.

**Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in**:

- Improving projects by listening to the people who are likely to be affected by them.
- Drafting and implementing engagement plans for GHD’s clients.
- Working on a broad range of region-defining projects.
- Developing your communication and engagement skillset in a supportive and collaborative team.
- Contributing to GHD’s growing Engagement, Communication and Communities team in NSW. Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with Project Directors, and Project Managers.

**What you will bring to the team**:

- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- A ‘can-do’ flexible approach to work.
- Strategic and creative thinking that contributes to successful outcomes for clients.
- A university degree in communications or a related area.
